Polypropylen e, PP for short, is a polymer of propylen e by adding polymerization. White waxy material, transparent and light in appearance. The chemical formula is (C3H6)n, the density is 0.89 ~ 0.91g/cm3, flammable, melting point is 189ºC, softening at 155ºC, the use of temperature range is -30 ~ 140ºC. Under 80ºC can resist acid, alkali, salt solution and a variety of organic solvent corrosion, can decompose under high temperature and oxidation action. Polypropylen e is a thermoplastic synthetic resin with excellent performance. It is a colorless translucent lightweight thermoplastic general purpose plastic with chemical resistance, heat resistance, electrical insulation, high strength mechanical properties and good high wear-resisting processing properties. It is widely used in the production of clothing, blankets and other fiber products, medical instruments, automobiles, bicycles, spare parts, transportation pipes, chemical containers and so on. Also used for food, medicine packaging.
